The Options for Teeth Whitening Procedures

There are two teeth whitening procedures available,

Non-Vital Whitening
This procedure is carried out on teeth that has had a root-canal treatment and which no longer has a live canal. This procedure may not be helpful for a tooth that has undergone root-canal treatment if the stain is located on the inside of the tooth. In this case, dentists usually employ a procedure that will remove the stains from the inside of the tooth. It is achieved by placing a tooth whitening agent inside and putting a temporary filling over it. The whitening process will take a few days. This procedure is always done once or repetition can be done until the tooth achieves the desired colour.

Vital Whitening
Here, gel is utilised as a whitening solution and normally applied directly on the tooth surface. The product contains hydrogen peroxide. This procedure can be provided at our dentistry clinic.
